Samurai Armor Experience in Maruoka Castle Town
A special plan where you can wear authentic samurai armor and take photos with a castle as your backdrop.
You can choose from two types of armor: one for higher-ranking samurai and one for regular samurai. This gives you the chance to learn about the differences in kimono and armor styles.
There are also armor sets for children and even for pets (small dogs and cats), so the whole family—including furry companions—can join in the fun and take photos together.
Local staff will help you put on the armor and explain its details, so you can learn about it while wearing it. Walking around the castle in full samurai armor lets you experience what it might have felt like to be a samurai of that era.
