The Wakasa area is rich in Japan’s traditional history. Experience making breakfast together in a classic Japanese farmhouse.
You can cook rice using local spring water over the farmhouse’s traditional stove and grill fresh fish from the region on a "shichirin" (charcoal grill). Fresh eggs collected that morning can be used to make exquisite "tamago-gohan "(egg over rice). You are also welcome to bring your own ingredients and cook them on the grill.
The inn’s owner is a marine resource researcher and can share fascinating insights about the local sea and fish.
If you wish, you can also enjoy additional experiences such as BBQ or a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.
